[He exhales slowly, relieved that this time seems to be going better. Thank God. He wasn't sure he could explain it over the phone right now, even over video.]

Dunno who figured it out first. It's been around since before your time though. [Another exhaled breath. God this cigarette is exactly what he needs right now.]

Lovely woman I met at a party once showed me how it was done after some asshole made a comment about the fit of my dress. I gave him a good shove for it, but the technique was was appreciated. Certainly came in handy every time I felt like being gussied up after that. [He chuckles.] She was fun, too, though not nearly as fun as you.

At least you have tape for it. I've had times where I had naught but my own knickers to work with. Having to show off my bare legs instead of covering them up when my dress is shorter is scandalous.
