They'll be banging on walls while /I'm/ sleeping, too. It's only going to be for a week or two, and after that the music room will be the way we need it. [It's possible that 'need' might be skewed a bit more towards him, but they both play piano !!]

We knew this was coming /eventually/. It'll be worth it in the end.

I didn't want anyone working on the Mayfair house because anything we would have gotten out of repairs to a home that old wouldn't have been worth the cost.

Death is part of your life in a way it'll never be a part of mine. [Even if he loses everyone he knows now and comes to meet in the future, and dies himself millions of times over. His body is alive, and will be eternally.] That can't be ignored, and it's the lens you see the world through.
